MacroGram is a standalone macro tracking tool for fitness and dietary logging. This app provides informational data only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary or lifestyle changes.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the MacroGram mobile application (“the App”). MacroGram is a no-account, client-side-only tool. We do not require user registration, do not create user accounts, and do not upload your personal usage data to any external server.

2. Data We Collect & Store

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers.

All data you enter is stored locally only on your device. Local data includes:

Basic profile metrics (height, weight, age, gender, activity level)
Custom calorie and macronutrient goals
Daily food logs, portion entries, and nutrition records
Local app preferences and settings

3. Permissions We Do NOT Request

MacroGram does not request or access the following:

No Photo Library / Camera access (no food photo capture)
No Apple Health / HealthKit integration
No iCloud sync functionality
No location data
No contact or microphone access

4. How Your Data Is Stored

All records are stored locally on your iPhone. There is no automatic sync feature between devices. Your data will remain on this device unless you manually delete the app or clear its local storage. We have no ability to access, view or retrieve your local app data.

5. Data Sharing & Selling

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data.

No user log data, profile data, or device personal information is shared with third parties, advertisers, or analytics platforms.

6. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California users hold full rights to their personal data. Since all data remains on your device and we store zero user data on our servers:

No data disclosure requests apply
No data deletion requests need to be processed by us
No personal data is ever sold

You may delete all your app data at any time by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.

7. Data Retention

All logged data is retained only on your personal device for your own reference. We retain zero user data remotely.

8. Children’s Privacy

This App is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

9. In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed exclusively by Apple App Store. We do not collect or store any payment, credit card, or billing information.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the latest policy.
